East Area Crime Enforcement Taskforce action target violence against women and girls and make numerous arrests.

A sixteen days of action campaign to target violence against women and girls has seen East Area’s Crime Enforcement Taskforce make arrests across Barking and Dagenham.

On Saturday a male was arrested in Dagenham by Taskforce officers for sexual assault.

A second male was arrested for Malicious Communication against an ex-partner.

On Friday a male was arrested in Barking for stalking and harassment.

Officers are working hard in the area to specifically target violence against women and girls.
