Proactive work by South Hornchurch police officers sees stolen car returned and CS spray seized.

Great police work by South Hornchurch and Beam Park Safer Neighbourhood officers has seen a stolen vehicle returned to its owners and the seizure of CS spray.

Officers on patrol yesterday stopped the vehicle after an unmarked police car had followed it into Lakeside. The vehicle was on false plates and had been stolen from the Bromley area last month.

Following the stop, two men were arrested and one was found in possession of CS spray.
