Police advise residents to remove disabled blue badges when not in use following a spate of thefts.
Police officers across Chadwell Heath are advising residents to remove their blue badges from their vehicles when not in use following a spate of thefts since the start of the new year.
Officers are also asking local disabled blue badge holders to consider additional security measures to keep their badges safe.
A leaflet has been distributed by local safer Neighbourhood Teams to help advise residents further.
