Havering Mayor becomes a Christmas Elf to help support autistic charity.
Havering Mayor Councillor Stephanie Nunn and Consort Councillor Barry Mugglestone donned their Christmas outfits last week to support a small Romford charity.
Councillor Nunn became a jolly Christmas Elf, whilst Councillor Mugglestone became a very fabulous Father Christmas to help Romford Autistic Group Support (RAGS). The charity held their Christmas party last Wednesday 20 December and were especially joined by the two councillors.
The small Romford group has been run for over twenty years and is solely run by two trustees. All members are parents of autistic children and do whatever they can to provide group support to their families. RAGS run many events and activities for health and well being throughout the year.
Well done to Councillor Nunn and Councillor Mugglestone and to RAGS for the fantastic work in our community!
