Man found with knife injuries at Romford shopping centre.
The Liberty shopping centre was closed for a period of time yesterday afternoon, after a man was found with slash injuries.
The incident happened at 3.50pm after reports of a group of males seen with knives at the Romford shopping centre.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at around 15:50 on Sunday, 3 December, to a group of males with knives at the Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford.
Officers attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, suffering slash injuries. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects, led by officers from the Met’s East Area CID. There has been no arrest at this stage.

The shopping centre was closed for some time while officers responded to the incident.”
