Many residents across Havering have been very vocal about their objections to the expansion of the ultra low emission zone (ULEZ) and the way it has been rolled out across outer London boroughs. The team of campaigners have organised protests across the borough, have joined in large London wide protests and have been very vocal in calling this expansion another tax on those who can least afford it.
Its introduction in August this year has seen a negative impact in communities across the outer London boroughs. Residents are unhappy about the way that this scheme has been rolled out.
Now, the festive spirit is upon us, the anti ULEZ campaigners have made sure that everyone and everything is prepared for the Christmas festivities, especially the ULEZ cameras! They have been decorated with Christmas tinsel and baubles.
White RS Cab, joined by members of the Havering Anti ULEZ facebook group and other Havering residents have been going out each evening and decorating the cameras, not blocking them, with Christmas decorations!
