Hundreds of visitors attended an amazing event at the beautiful Walled Garden in Bedfords Park yesterday, Sunday 8 October. The sun shone as residents came out to join in the ‘Apple Day’ celebrations including the Romford MP Andrew Rosindell.

The Walled Garden is one of the most beautiful features Havering has and is run solely by volunteers. The garden is a splendid display of colour, smells and sites and really is stunning.

Apple Day celebrations also had many local stalls on hand for residents to enjoy, and of course, sample many apples grown by locals in the area.

Well done to all the volunteers of Bedfords Park who do a fantastic job throughout the year maintaining this garden.
