A police cordon was still in place this morning after a fight broke out near Sainsbury’s on Suttons Lane in Hornchurch yesterday 18, September.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Three people were arrested at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“At around 22:50 on Monday 18 September police were called to a report of a fight at Suttons Lane, Hornchurch.
Officers attended the scene and located a number of individuals involved.
A 19 year-old man, 47 year-old man and 37 year-old woman were arrested at the scene.
First aid was provided at the scene by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and a 22 year-old man was taken to hospital. Injuries are believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
Enquires are ongoing.”
