Yesterday, 6 September, the New Met for London event came to Havering. These events have been hosted right across the capital and last night, saw Havering’s turn.
Havering Daily reporter Ross Elliott joined the local community to hear what officers had to say.
The event was led by Neighbourhoods Superintendent Simon Hutchinson and Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe.

Held at the Cranleigh, the event was a packed house with a variety of different members of the community including bereaved mum and anti knife crime campaigner Sue Hedges from the Ricky Hayden Memorial.
A question and answer session was held and topics discussed included the battle to stop knife crime and violence against women and girls.
