Mayor visits Sight Action Havering Information and Technology Exhibition.
Councillor Stephanie Nunn Havering’s Mayor, and Consort Councillor Barry Mugglestone, yesterday 6 September, visited a special exhibition at the YMCA in Roneo Corner.
The Sight Action Havering Information and Technology Exhibition was held from 10-3pm and saw many special guests including Havering’s Deputy Lieutenant Mike Brace OBE, the Chair of Sight Action.
Councillor Nunn told the Havering Daily: “i was so interested to see the advances made in technology that can enhance the lives of the partially sighted and visually impaired.
“There was an opportunity to speak to many groups including Blind Veterans who give support to our ex-service personnel.
“Thank you to our Deputy Lieutenant Mike Brace and the Sight Action Team for organising this fantastic event.”
