‘Anyone coming to Romford intent on criminal behaviour can expect to be dealt with by officers’-Havering Police.

Police have increased their presence in Romford Town centre today following social media speculation about an advertised event this afternoon (Wednesday, 16 August). A dispersal order is also in place for 48 hours.

A statement from the Met Police said: “We are working with our partners in Havering Council and Romford Business Community to prevent any criminal behaviour.

Anyone coming to Romford intent on criminal behaviour can expect to be dealt with by officers.”

The Section 35 Dispersal Order has been put in place. The order commenced at 10am today for 48 hours.
