Former Havering Councillor Paul Rochford passes away.
Former Havering Councillor, Paul Rochford has passed away.
Paul represented Emerson Park Ward on behalf of the Conservative Group from 1998-2014
During that time, Paul held several Cabinet positions, including areas such as environment, regeneration and social inclusion.
He also sat on many committees which included regeneration, children’s learning and social enterprise, education, skills and young people and standards committees.
Paul also served as a London Council representative for the Children, Young People and Families forum.
He was an active part of the local community, lending his time and support to amongst others, the Emerson Park Community Association, Havering College of Further and Higher Education plus several sports and arts organisations.
Councillor Ray Morgon, Leader of the Council, said:
“This is very sad news. Paul was a well-respected and long-serving member of the Council who played a major part in the life of the borough and those residents in his ward.
“I have fond memories of working alongside him as a cabinet colleague for a couple of years.
“I would like to send my deepest sympathies and best wishes to Paul’s family and friends at this difficult time.”

Sadly a number of past and present councillors have passed away recently. I do not know the actual causes and it would be impolite of me to enquire, but I did raise Paul Rochford’s illness with Executive and Members as potentially due to an adverse reaction to coercive and experimental medication which the Executive and almost all Members had encouraged Havering residents to take.
I had asked Executive and Members to consider this before continuing to support the “roll-out” and offer support and legal advice to Paul’s family about redress, compensation and vaccine damage payments as per the council’s safeguarding duty to Members, staff and residents.
I do not know if this was acted upon, but the Council Leader dismissed my concerns as did a Cabinet Member who said concerns about adverse reactions were “spurious and unsubstantiated” and the Chief Executive told me not to raise this matter again with officers and members or my messages would be blocked.
Therefore I called on Havering MPs and media to look into this matter and contact Executive and Members to ensure they are adhering to their safeguarding duties by opposing the continued “roll-out” of experimental medication to healthy Havering residents.
