VIDEO: Romford MP Andrew Rosindell calls on Prime Minister to intervene over the ULEZ expansion.

Andrew Rosindell MP for Romford, yesterday called on the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to intervene over the ultra low emission zone due to start in two weeks time. The expansion to all London Boroughs has caused endless controversy and anger across the outer London boroughs who have been campaigning heavily and protesting on a weekly basis against it. The expansion is due to start on 29 August and protests held across central London have been taking place regularly, with last week seeing hundreds turn out to voice their objections.

Mr Rosindell spoke to the Havering Daily outside of Romford Conservative Headquarters, Margaret Thatcher House, calling on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to intervene now, before the expansion begins.

The Romford MP has been very vocal on this issue and has joined the frequent protests across London and has also openly called for this expansion to be reviewed to look into the impact it will have on many residents in the borough who face life changing decisions.

So Rosindell is one of those responsible for Boroughs tipping away £1m of taxpayers money on a vanity legal action?

So he’s very vocal on this, well why hasn’t he raised this in Parliament. In fact he hasn’t been in the House of Commons for well over a year. Is he still getting his salary as an MP. I notice that the PM very recently criticised another Tory MP, Nadine Dories, for not attending Parliament for a year and saying she should step down, perhaps he can give the same advice to the Romford MP, so that residents of Romford can be properly represented in Parliament
