Pippa’s Army kittens star in Harpers Bazaar magazine.
Four of Pippa’s Army rescue kittens are now the star of Harpers Bazaar magazine after featuring in one of their photoshoots!
The local charity are a rescue and rehoming group working within Thurrock and Havering, and run solely by volunteers. They are a team of animal lovers who quite often get their days and nights taken over by lost, abandoned and injured animals.
A spokesperson for Pippa’s Army told the Havering Daily: “When we are contacted by Harpers Bazaar suggesting a photo shoot with some of our kittens, well this was something that doesn’t happen every day but more importantly did we have any kittens suitable, well the answer to that was actually yes.
Four orphan kittens abandoned in a park in Chelmsford fitted the bill, totally loved people and everything else.
“So Elmo, Parker, Chelmer and Ford had their modelling debut and they loved their day out and all their cuddles. Harpers Bazaar gave Pippa’s Army a much needed and very appreciated donation ! Our volunteer fosterers Emma and Steve french had a fabulous afternoon , making sure the kittens were well cared for and had a great day out as well.”
The photo from the shoot will be on the back cover of the September issue with some rather lovely wool based slippers!
