Havering representatives attended another anti ULEZ protest in London on Saturday 5 August. The protest at Trafalgar Square was the largest to date as protesters stood with banners, placards, whistles and mega phones to shout their objections to this expansion.

Romford MP Andrew Rosindell joined the protesters alongside Havering Residents Association councillors Dave Godwin,Laurence Garrd and Gerry O Sullivan.

Despite the poor weather conditions, this protest saw the biggest turn out yet as many from all outer London Boroughs came to make their voices heard and shout their objections to this expansion that is due to start in a few weeks.

Despite our absent MP’s claims, Havering is NOT ‘united against ULEZ’ – many if us who live here are in favour of the scheme as we want to do our bit to clean the air that our descendants will breathe. Stop lumping us ‘all’ in with your ill-judged opposition to this scheme. I am a Havering resident and support Mayor Khan in trying to do something.
