Teenager arrested after found concealing a machete in his trouser waistband.

A 16 year old boy was arrested yesterday, 5 July, outside of Barking station after being found in possession of a machete.

The youth was stopped and searched by officers from Barking Town Centre where they found a machete hidden in his trouser waistband.

This is another extremely dangerous weapon removed off our streets by our officers.

Well done to Barking Town Centre officers.
