Quick response by Havering Joint Task Force officers sees burglar caught.

Well done to Havering Joint Task Force officers and members of the community who worked together to catch a burglar.

The Havering officers were deployed to Squirrels Heath following reports of a male breaking into a house.

Vigilant members of the public kept the police updated with the suspect’s description and location as officers made their way to the area.

The male was quickly identified and arrested for burglary and remains in police custody.
