The Royal British Legion Band and Corps of Drums host ‘A Night at The West End’ in Romford.
A special summer concert was held by the Royal British Legion Band and Drum Corps on Western Road yesterday, June 18.
The event was called ‘A Night At the West End’, where the much loved band played classic hits such as The Greatest Showman, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and Chicago.
The event was attended by Havering’s Mayor Councillor Stephanie Nunn and Consort Councillor Barry Mugglestone. It was a packed hall on Western Road enjoying all the hits being played.
The finale was the band’s act from Britain’s Got Talent that they recently appeared on.
Councillor Nunn told the Havering Daily: “It was real pleasure to hear the Royal British Legion Band and Corps of Drums play all these amazing pieces in Romford. They are a credit to our borough.”
