Rainham collision sees both drivers taken to hospital as one vehicle overturns.
Berwick Pond Road was closed off this morning just before 8am after two cars were involved in a collision, with one vehicle overturning.
The drivers of the two vehicles were both taken to hospital by London Ambulance and police are currently waiting for an update on their condition.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 07:50 on Friday, 16 June to reports of a road traffic collision at Berwick Pond Road, Rainham.
Officers, London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene two cars had been in collision with one having overturned.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to east London hospitals by LAS. We await updates on their conditions.
There were no arrests.
A crime scene was established but has since been lifted. However, we await vehicle recovery.
