BREAKING: Attempted smash and grab at Elm Park store.
A van has smashed into the front of the Co-op store in Elm Park this morning in an attempted smash and grab.
The incident happened at 3.20am on Station Parade, as thieves tried to break into the store. The suspects have not been able to steal anything, but only damage the front of the store.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and call 101 quoting 5409991/23 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
