VIDEO:Community appeal to help Rainham boxing champion raise funds for next fight.
Liam Wells is a kickboxing double world champion. The Rainham man is not only a sporting hero, but also a community champion who spends his time when he is not training, helping youths in his community stay away from trouble and join in sporting activities instead.
Sadly due to an injury, the 28 year old had to give up kickboxing and is now focusing on boxing.
Liam is a future boxing champion and has a very important boxing match on 17 June in Brentwood. However, he has numerous expenses to pay for including the need to have a brain scan that will cost Liam an incredible £600!
Without this costly scan, Liam cannot box and he needs the community’s help to raise the funds.
Local Rainham Councillor Sue Ospreay who does amazing work right across the area and is much loved by her community, is helping Liam by setting up a fund to help him find the £600 needed for the scan.
