Havering Islamic Cultural Centre hosts special community day to celebrate Eid.
Yesterday, Sunday 14 May a special community day was held at Havering Islamic Cultural Centre to mark Eid celebrations.
The community came together to mark this special event in Romford with lots of stalls and activities for families to participate in.
Romford Town Safer Neighbourhood Team held a special violence against women stall and engaged with the local community about safety and welfare.
Havering’s new Neighbourhood’s Superintendent Hutchinson joined in the festivities alongside the Romford MP Andrew Rosindell and Councillors Graham Williamson, Judith Holt, Viddy Persaud, Jane Keane and Tim Ryan. Also present was Havering and Redbridge GLA Member Keith Prince who is ward Councillor for Squirrels Heath.
