Fifteen Year Old Boy Detained In Romford After Being Found With A Knife.

East Area Violence Suppression Unit do a fantastic job across all three boroughs Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge. Yesterday, the team were working across Romford town centre when they came across a 15 year old boy who ran from officers. He was successfully detained after a chase and found to be in possession of a knife after being searched.

He was subsequently detained.

East Area officers have been working hard across Romford town centre to tackle knife crime and anti social behaviour. Stop and search has led to many arrests over the last month that have resulted in many dangerous weapons being removed off our streets.

The knife removed off a 15 year old boy by police officers yesterday.
