On 31 March two officers from the Goodmayes Safer Neighbourhoods Team came across a brawl outside a shop in Goodmayes, which was dispersed by the officers. At the location the officers discovered a male having an epileptic seizure on the ground.

Upon closer examination, the officers noticed that the male had stopped breathing and was unconscious. They quickly administered CPR and called for assistance.

Thanks to their incredible efforts, the man began breathing, though he later stopped breathing once again. Nonetheless, the officers persisted until members of the London Ambulance arrived.

The male later expressed his gratitude to the officers for their important actions that saved his life and he was later taken to hospital for further treatment.

A crime scene was created and a suspect was later apprehended and arrested by members of the Emergency Response Team.

The investigation is ongoing.

Well done to these officers for their life saving work.
