Joint Work By Havering Officers Sees Another Large Knife Removed From Romford Town Centre.

Well done to officers from East Area Violence Suppression Unit and Romford Town Centre team who have combined forces this Bank Holiday Monday to keep the Romford streets safe and have removed another very dangerous weapon from our streets.

The team have arrested a male after being found with a very large knife on him.

Let’s spare a thought for all our officers working this Bank Holiday, keeping the streets safe despite the tidal wave of violent crime. Let us also remember that they frequently put their life on the line to remove these horrendous weapons from those carrying them who are willing to use them.
