VIDEO:Former Havering Mayor Reaches Mount Everest Base Camp One to Raise Money for Charity.

Well done to former Havering Mayor and Mawney Ward Councillor Dilip Patel who has reached Mount Everest Base Camp One in a bid to raise as much money as he can for Hornchurch charity First Step.

Councillor Patel donned his climbing boots two weeks ago and begin the incredible climb of 5364 metres to reach the top of Base Camp One. On Friday, Councillor Patel reached the top and made it, a great achievement.
