Sue Hedges is an amazing lady. Since losing her son Ricky Hayden in 2016, Sue has spent every possible moment campaigning against knife crime.

Sue now donates life saving Daniel Baird bleed kits to the community from the Ricky Hayden Memorial in a desperate bid to save as many lives as she can.

Despite the many challenges Sue and her family have faced, Sue is always smiling and helping other people. Sue is a community champion and a real life hero. Her endless work in the community has saved lives.

Today, for International Women’s Day, we chat with Sue and thank her for the incredible work she does everyday.
