Sidra Naeem really is an amazing community champion. Not only is she the Deputy Lieutenant in Essex, but she also spends her weekends donating food as park of the Collier Row Food bank run by Dr Khalid Salim.

Sidra is an amazing role model not just for Muslim women, but for all women in the community. Her volunteering across the Havering community has helped many. She is also the secretary for the Havering Interfaith Forum where she organises and delivers many talks on the importance of good inter Faith relationships in our communities.

Well done Sidra for all the incredible work you do everyday across Havering!

Today, for International Women’s Day, we chat with Sidra about her hard work in the borough.
