Chief Inspector Lou Jackson from East Area police really is an amazing role model for women in policing. Lou works tirelessly across the three East Area boroughs Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge. Her work tackling violence against women and girls has been outstanding, leading in regular Walk and Talks and hosting many community workshops to reassure women across east London.

Not only is Lou a great role model for anyone women looking to join the police, but she is also a mum of two young children and juggles the many challenges of being a mum and police officer.

Lou is a fantastic police officer, and also a member of our community who spends a lot of her time listening to residents and tackling their concerns.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible work Lou does as a police officer and what a great role model she is for women wishing to join the police.

Thousands and thousands of pensioners recently died in the Covid pandemic but wealthy people are having more children all the time. Wealthy children have high expectations from life whereas pensioners who died in care homes are forgotten and their deaths are even ridiculed by the extremist scum minority in Havering. Positive role models are very welcome, hooray !
