Angelina Leatherbarrow is a lady who campaigns tirelessly for those who have no voice in our communities. She has been a Labour campaigner for many years now and has overcome dreadful threats and abuse towards her and her family. Yet despite all the horrendous abuse she has faced, Angelina is still a strong voice in our community, championing those who struggle the most.

She not only is a great role model for women aspiring to be in the political field, but also an amazing mum who is raising two lovely girls in difficult times.

Today, for International Women’s Day, we celebrate Angelina and all the incredible work she does tirelessly in our community.
