Former Mayor and Mawney Ward Councillor Dilip Patel is preparing himself today to climb an incredible 4,300 metres as he gets nearer to Everest Base Camp 1 in Nepal.
Councillor Patel is not only fulfilling a life long ambition, but also raising as much money as he can for Havering charity First Step.
Today, Councillor Patel will climb an incredible 4,300 metres as he progresses on his mission to reach Base Camp 1.
