Yesterday, 6 March East Area Police attended Barkingside Magistrates Court to have a three month extension on the current closure order in place at Millard Terrace in Dagenham.

Officers from Village ward were successful in their application and as a result the closure will remain in place until 6 June this year.

Officers from the local Crime Enforcement Task Force will continue to patrol the estate in order to reduce anti social behaviour and the fear of crime.

The order has already had some success and the police welcome the extension whilst longer term solutions are found and put into place.

Well done to our local officers and council officers for all their hard work in getting this extension and tackling anti social behaviour in the area and on the estate.
