Dagenham and Rainham Conservatives elect new leadership.
Members of the Conservative Party from across Dagenham and Rainham constituency have elected their new leadership.
The new Chairman is 35-year-old Matej Travnicek, who is accompanied by a mixture of campaigning veterans and young blood as Sue Connelly BEM and Ben Suter were elected as Mr Travnicek’s deputies and former Havering Councillor Barry Oddy will serve as the Association’s President.
The first task in hand for the new team is the local council by-election in Dagenham’s Heath ward where the local Conservatives have put forward Mr Joe Lynch as their candidate.
Conservatives are campaigning against the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expansion proposed by Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan as well as against controversial Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) that are being implemented by the Labour controlled Barking and Dagenham Council.
