BREAKING: Multiple Teenagers Stabbed in Romford-Section 60 in place.
Three teenagers have been stabbed on South Street in Romford this afternoon. The boys aged 15, 16 and 17 have been rushed to hospital and police are awaiting an update on their condition. The incident took place at 5.38pm and the area has been cordoned off.
A Section 60 Dispersal Order has now been put into place.
A fourth male has been arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray, and is currently being held in police custody.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and a crime scene has been established to gather evidence. Witnesses are being asked to come forward with any information that may help the investigation. If you have any information, you are urged to contact the police on 101, quoting CAD 5355/27Feb. Alternatively, you can remain anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
In response to the incident, the Section 60 has been authorised, giving officers additional stop and search powers to prevent further violence in the area. This measure will be in place until 03:00hrs on Tuesday, 28 February.
As the investigation into this incident continues, the police are urging anyone with information to come forward. They are also reminding members of the public to remain vigilant, and to report any suspicious activity to the authorities.

But stop and search until 3am tomorrow isn’t enough. The crime rate in Romford clearly shows the need for more stop and search. And ban full faced balaclavas in public! These cowards hide behind them!
