Police arrest man in Hornchurch for vehicle theft and seize axe from property.

Well done to Havering Joint Task Force who were yesterday deployed following the theft of a delivery van.

A driver was delivering goods when his van was stolen from the Hacton ward in Hornchurch.

Havering Joint Task Force were called and were able to locate the stolen van at a location nearby. The officers forced entry into the property and arrested the a male for vehicle theft. An axe was also seized from the property.
