Hornchurch man charged with high value theft and fraud offences.
A man from Hornchurch has been charged in connection with high value theft and fraud offences.
James Tibbs, 56, of Peacock Close, Hornchurch, was arrested on 22 February on suspicion of theft, fraud and conspiracy offences. He was later charged with three counts of theft, two counts of attempted theft, two counts of fraud by false representation and a conspiracy to commit fraud.
Tibbs appeared at Barkingside Magistrates Court on 23 February where he was remanded in custody to appear at Snatesbrook Crown Court on Thursday, 23 March.
The charge relates to the theft of jewels, jewellery and perfume between April and November 2022.
