Andrew Rosindell M.P. has issued a statement on the shocking news of a stabbing outside of New City College, Ardleigh Green earlier today.

Shocking news has emerged this afternoon in Ardleigh Green, Hornchurch, following a vicious knife attack outside Havering College. The Member of Parliament for Romford, Andrew Rosindell, has expressed his shock and concern at the incident, stating that “we cannot continue to allow stabbings and violent crime on our streets!”.

Following news of a stabbing within the constituency of Romford, on Ardleigh Green Road outside of Havering College, Andrew Rosindell M.P., who has been the Member of Parliament for Romford since 2001, has said this is a “disturbing episode in Hornchurch’s history”.

Mr. Rosindell’s thoughts are “with the victim” and he has stated that he is “sure that he speaks for the whole of Havering in praying for the victim’s swift recovery”. The local MP has called for action to be taken to ensure that residents in Ardleigh Green are protected from this type of behaviour in the future.

“I will be asking Havering Police and the New City College to take immediate action to keep our community safe,” said Mr. Rosindell. “It is unacceptable that people living in Ardleigh Green should have to live in fear of violent crime. We need to do everything we can to make sure that incidents like this never happen again.”

The incident has sparked concern throughout the local community, with many residents calling for greater efforts to be made to tackle knife crime in the area. The MP for Romford has pledged to do all that he can to ensure that the people of Ardleigh Green are protected from this type of behaviour in the future.

This is not the first time something like this has occurred outside of a place of learning– an incident in March 2019 left a teenager injured suffering stabbing wounds in Harold Hill.

He will be writing directly to the Mayor of London on this issue and will be pushing for greater police presence throughout the constituency “for the greater good of all – Romford has never been a violent area, we must keep it that way”.

“Romford has never been a violent area, we must keep it that way”. I think that Romford has become gradually more violent since Andrew Rosindell became the town’s MP. I’ve lived in Romford most of my life and I honestly cannot remember the gun or frequent knife violence we have today before Andrew Rosindell became the MP. Sorry Mr Rosindell the statistics do seem to tell a different story to your claim.
