The Ricky Hayden Memorial donate life saving bleed kit to the Victoria pub.
Bereaved mum Sue Hedges from Hornchurch who runs the Ricky Hayden Memorial in memory of her son who was fatally stabbed in in 2016, has donated a vital life saving bleed kit to the Victoria pub in Romford.
Sue joined Councillor Judith Holt on Friday 3 February at the Romford pub to hand over the Daniel Baird bleed kit to landlady Suzanne.
The Daniel Baird bleed kits are London Ambulance approved and are life saving tools for any form of catastrophic bleeding such as traffic collisions, or stabbings.
On Friday, Sue met with St Albans ward Councillor Holt and handed over the bleed kit to Suzanne from the Victoria pub.
Sue told the Havering Daily: “Thank you to Councillor Holt for organising this and to Suzanne from the Victoria for accpeting this bleed kit.
“Sadly they are life saving tools for our society today and we will carry on donating as many as we can.”
Sue and her daughter April have donated many bleed kits to endless organisations across Havering and east London and will continue to do so in the hope that they will save a life if needed.
