Romford Town Centre police officers remove another dangerous weapon and quantity of drugs off our streets.

Romford Town Centre police officers have been deployed to Operation Nightingale patrols across the Romford area. The aim is to reduce serious violence off our streets.

Romford has been plagued with knife crime, especially on South Street. It was just last week that police were called to a gang of males having a knife fight in the town centre.

Our local police officers have been actively patrolling the area both day and night to decrease violent activity and remove dangerous weapons off our street.

Well done to the Romford Town Centre team who have removed another knife from our borough!
