Male arrested after shocking knife fight on the A127 Gallows Corner.
A 23 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a shocking knife fight in the middle of the A127 Gallows Corner last Friday.
Drivers were shocked to see two males with large knives fight each other on a busy stretch of the road as vehicles had to pullover.
Police were called on January 13 to reports of a knife fight at Gallows Corner in Romford. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two individuals were involved in the altercation. One man, aged 23, sustained slash wounds and was transported to the hospital for treatment. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening. He has also been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The police are currently investigating the incident and are searching for the second individual involved in the fight. Any witnesses to the event are encouraged to come forward and provide information to the police by calling 101 and quoting CAD 4545/13Jan.
