BREAKING: Appeal for witnesses after life threatening assault in Harold Wood.
On Friday, January 13th, police were called to the Gallows Corner area of Harold Wood to respond to a reported fight between two individuals. The altercation resulted in one male being transported to the hospital with injuries that are currently being treated as life-threatening.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s East Area BCU have launched an investigation, and are asking any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 and referencing incident number 4545/13jan. To remain anonymous, individuals can contact Crimestoppers (0800 555 111).
The MET Police told the Havering Daily.
“Police were called at around 15:50hrs on Friday, 13 January, to a fight between two people in the Gallows Corner area of Harold Wood.
“One male has been taken to hospital. His condition is currently being treated as life-threatening.
“Detectives from the Met’s East Area BCU are investigating. There has been no arrest at this stage.
“Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call 101, ref 4545/13jan. To remain anonymous please contact Crimestoppers.
“The A127 traveling towards Essex is closed and drivers are advised to avoid the Gallows Corner area.”
