On Sunday, January 15th, Trees for Havering will be hosting an event at the Hornchurch Country Park Covid Memorial from 9 am to noon, during which volunteers can help plant new trees. This is the continuation of a series of events in which over 3000 trees have already been planted. The organisation is looking for volunteers from the community, including families, couples, community/church groups, and local councillors, to join them in their efforts to plant more trees in Havering.

Please take your own spade if you have one (there are some available) and ensure you wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather too.
