Police officers out on foot patrol across east area despite snow and freezing temperatures.

With many schools closed across the borough yesterday, and people choosing to work from home, our police officers across east area were still out across our streets on foot patrol.

Well done to officers right across the capital who yesterday carried on working despite plummeting temperatures and pavements full of snow.

Many children enjoyed a day off school and were able to have snowball fights and even have fun on sledges!

Our officers here continued their work across Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge, patrolling our streets and High Streets.
