Special Inter Faith quiz night held in Romford to mark National Inter Faith week.

This week was National Interfaith Week, where organisations around the country held events to help understand each other’s Faiths. The Havering Interfaith Forum hosted an exciting Interfaith Quiz night at The Salvation Army, where everyone had Faith fun with numbers!

The questions covered a range of topics on nine Faiths including Humanism and were set by Sidra Naeem, a teacher, RE coordinator, Chaplain and a representative of SACRE (Standing Advisory Council of Religious Education). 

The Interfaith event included sharing each other’s food. Fun and Food is the universal language for uniting differing faiths and the quiz proved a valuable link in inter-Faith relations, cooperation and further cemented strong friendships and alliances between our communities. It is important people can come together & overcome differences & celebrate their similarities & shared values, through common, fun initiatives and the quiz helped to promote this.
