Well done to Scott who yesterday (Wednesday October 5) launched Havering’s first men’s walk and talk group. The team met up outside of Upminster station and were supported by Havering Council’s Deputy Leader, Councillor Gillian Ford who was pleased to support this fantastic initiative.

A team of men joined Scott who has launched these groups across many other London Boroughs, to walk and talk and share their mental health concerns.

Sadly, there are so many stigmas attached to men’s mental health and men don’t often feel comfortable sharing their mental health worries and concerns openly.

Groups such as these, encourage men to feel at ease about their issues and gives them the opportunity to chat with others who might be experiencing similar issues.

If you are interested in joining Scott, the men’s walk and talk group meet every Wednesday outside of Upminster station side entrance at 6:30pm.
