Well done to Parminder and Kulvir Singh from Elm Park who have won not only the Havering gardening award, but the London in Bloom award for best front garden.

The couple from the Heron Flight estate, have won this award for the past two years and really take pride in their garden. Mrs Singh buys the plants, whilst her husband dedicates all his time to gardening.

Ward councillor for Elm Park, councillor Stephanie Nunn told the Havering Daily: “I am so proud of Mr Singh, not only did he win best front garden in Havering award, he also won best front garden in London in Bloom.

“I am a keen gardener myself and always admire Parminder’s front garden which is a rainbow of colours in the summer with not a weed to be seen. It is a pleasure to see a resident take such pride in his garden, whilst giving pleasure to his neighbours as well.”
