BREAKING: Three Rainham ward councillors leave the Conservative party to join the Havering Residents Association.
The three Rainham ward Councillors Sue Ospreay, Jackie McArdle and Sarah Edwards have left the Conservative group to join the Havering Residents Assocication.
Following a nightmare summer with the horrific Wennington fires, the ongoing fires on Launders Lane and many other problems in the area, the three ladies have felt completely unsupported by other Conservative councillors and left without a mentor to guide them during such difficult times.
Havering saw its worse natural disaster ever with the Wennington fire that destroyed 12 homes leaving so many people homeless. New to their posts the ladies jumped in and worked tirelessly to help those in need.
During such horrific times that saw national media attend Rainham, the three newly elected councillors were unguided and unsupported by their colleagues. Instead it was Havering Residents Association that rushed to their rescue and guided them through a very difficult and challenging time.
