‘Liz Truss should reflect on how it can be that so many families rely on foodbanks’-Jon Cruddas MP

The Dagenham and Rainham MP Jon Cruddas has today shared his views on the country’s new Prime Minister Liz Truss MP.

Mr Cruddas told the Havering Daily:

“The nation has a new Prime Minister, but what we need is a fundamental change of priorities and policies in favour of working people and protecting the living standards of the majority who are worried about escalating prices and making ends meet. Liz Truss should reflect on how can it be that so many families rely on foodbanks and so many people are at risk of being on the brink of fuel poverty in the sixth wealthiest nation on earth. Something has gone radically wrong with our economy under the watch of Tory governments over the past twelve years.”
