Firefighters tackle roof blaze in Rainham.

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters tackled a fire in Guysfield Drive, Rainham just after midnight last night.

The roof and part of the first floor of a house were alight, as well as the roof of a neighbouring property. There are no reports of any injuries at this stage. 

The Brigade was called at 00:05 and the fire was under control by 01:52. Crews from Dagenham, Hornchurch, Barking and surrounding stations are at the scene. 

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
