This weekend has seen another violent weekend our across our capital with a man in his 20s shot dead in West Kensington, and a 17 year old fatally stabbed in Bow following a large street brawl with men armed with machetes.

We are also witnessing corner shops and off licences being targeted by gangs of youths who enter the premises, rampage through the shop looting and destroying what they can, assaulting staff and then leaving.

Despite police officers doing everything they can to tackle violence head on, there aren’t enough officers to deal with these outbreaks of violence right across our capital. As police officers have been stating for years-cuts have consequences.

The Home Secretary has written to the new Met Police boss Sir Mark Rowley informing him to learn from their ‘appalling mistakes’. Perhaps now is also the time for Sir Mark to mention that the London streets are showing outbreaks of violence that need to be urgently addressed and that the cuts to officer numbers in the last decade by the Conservative party, are showing the consequences.

Shootings are now becoming a weekly occurrence sadly and knife crime we know is a daily horror.

The brawl in Bow in the early hours of Sunday morning that left another 17 year dead, was horrific. Youths and adults armed with machetes fighting each other.

Now is indeed the time politicians address these urgent issues and stop using our police forces as a political tool.

Youths assaulting staff and rampaging across an off licence in Southall.

Well what do you expect when there is more illegal migrants still coming, and that was in the manifesto of this government, its time to teach these mps that we are not stupid and that we have had enough of the lies, I say don’t vote for anyone of the parties, they really don’t care about the British people only their selves and their pockets
